COLUMBUS, OH (April 12, 2008) – Kenyan Robert Letting did not disappoint the thousands of fans lining the course of the Capital City Half Marathon on April 12. Lyndsi Benedict wins the women's half marathon

"The Capital City Half Marathon leaped into a new category in its fifth year. Everyone who ran or walked, who volunteered, who put their hearts into the event should be proud of the way this world-class showcases the city of Columbus," said David Babner, president of John Bingham Racing. "The Arena District is a great setting for the event – a setting that continues to get better each year. In 2009, the new Huntington Ballpark will be open and we anticipate growing in participants and prestige in the world of road racing right along with the District."

In the Commit to Be Fit 5K, Wes Lewis won the men's division with a time of 17:56 while Jessica Cronau won the overall women's division with a time of 21:43.
